I have to say that the thing that impressed me the most on this entire trip happened before I even got to San Jose, let alone Seattle or Bellingham. When the airbus I was in was around Gilroy, I happened to look up from The Economist that I was reading and saw this big banner draped over an overpass that read: "Robert, go to prom w/ me?". For all the time I spent in Seattle last summer I was very bad at being a tourist. That underground tour thing sounds awesome. But I'm sure I'll end up there again at some point because I have good friends who live there, so I'll have to check it out.

I agree that the messier the food, the better it is!

Sounds like you had a nice vacation with good people. :)

Yeah, it was a great vacation. I highly recommend the underground tour, although mom says it sells out in advance for summer months, so depending on when you go, you may need to book in advance. That wasn't an issue for me, I guess I didn't come at peak travel time.

I did indeed have a nice vacation with good people. How are you liking your stay in Hawaii?

I have no plans at present to go, but if I do, I'll look into advance booking.

I am now home, but I had a fabulous time in Hawaii! I am sad because I miss my grandparents, but it's nice to come back to my own bed.

It was really cool to read about your observations :)

Im convinced our rocks are definitely smarter than anywhere else and most of them know that covering up with Moss will keep them warm in winter and cool in the summer ;)

So glad you had a good time. I really enjoyed spending the day with you! Wish I could have taken you up to the mountain though. :(

I'm glad you enjoyed reading my observations.

I had a great time. Spending the day with you was the highlight of my vacation. And you took me to such beautiful places that I don't feel like I missed anything at all by not getting to see Mt Baker. There's always time for that later.
