[He was never sure why Hiccup always did that-- it still tasted all right, he supposed, but it wasn't the same thing as slurping down a nice, slick fish right out of the water.]
[But one thing is right, this fish ISN'T very tasty. 8( The scales are awfully hard.]
[But still, Toothless tries extra hard to choke it down, just out of defiance.]
[... Fortunately, his human throat is sort of... small.]
[You eat big things in small sections, even he knows that, you just need a lot of small sections to go for the gold.
Now, how can he get him to stop choking himself without sounding nagging...]
Mmm~mm, that fish looks gooo~d. [He looks around with a smile, places his hand beside his mouth as if blocking view of his lips and leans into the camera, hushing his voice.] Hey, kiddo, I'll let you in on a little secret... fish tastes muu~ch better if you cut it up. [He's not lying. He doesn't like to lie.]
[The best part of fish was feeling the whole thing slide down your throat! No human ever seemed to understand that-- not even Hiccup, who had understood Toothless far more than any other of his kind. Even though he was the one who had fed him every day since he'd received the injury that stopped him from flying, the clumsy young Viking had always seemed fairly disgusted by all that raw fish. Not that Toothless really minded-- all the more for him!]
[Either way, the suggestion is met with a stubborn growl as Toothless hunkers down like a cat with a mouse in its mouth.]
You really shouldn't be eating it. Pokemon cannot be killed here, meaning you would have a live fish flopping around in your belly. And that could cause a considerate amount of problems and likely pain.
[Long, silent stare cause eating Pokémon of lower intelligence..]
[Why didn't he think of that.
[The solution to all of his future money problems.]
[So Stitch tentatively leans a liiitle closer to the Gear and lifts his hand a bit as if trying to grab the fish from Toothless, still staring wide-eyed]
[... HEEEEY. >8( He's got his eye on you, person-in-the-box.]
[Withdrawing from the screen slightly, as though he actually thinks Stitch CAN take the fish through the screen, Toothless curls his lip up and bares his sharper-than-average teeth.]
[With hand still lifted he raises his shoulders, lowers his head just a little and bares his (just as sharper-than-normal) teeth right back at Toothless.]
[He has never seen teeth like that on another human before.]
[... Maybe this weird blue-haired thing was another dragon!]
[... A Terrible Terror, maybe? They came in lots of different colors.]
[But dragon or no dragon, it's still a rival for food. So, slowly, Toothless lets the fish slide to the sand, where he keeps it down with a hand. And then, opening his jaws wide, he fills his lungs and ROARS at the screen.]
[... Not that it... sounds anywhere near as impressive coming from a human's vocal cords as it does a dragon's... but... it's LOUD!]

Instead he watches for a moment to see what happens. Maybe he won't choke? But if he does, he won't forgive himself for not warning...
He raises a brow.]
You sure it'll fit?

[His gag reflex is starting to kick in, making his shoulders heave-- but he's DETERMINED to hang onto that fish.]
[So he gives his head a stubborn toss. >8( YES. YES, IT WILL FIT. IT WILL.]

Careful! I don't think the pokemon are edible--you'll just end up hurting yourself.
