Omg, Shirley Bellinger fanfic! Her character was complex and deep and I really like how you portrayed her in this fic. Well done.

These were all excellent!
I really liked the way you wrote Shirley.That's the way she rationalized the killing of her daughter in canon,too. Convinced she was killing the "devil's spawn".

Your Parker made me laugh and sounded exactly like her,lol. I loved the line about stealing the Nobel Prize.

I think Louise was right about the way people saw her,and I like her last observation a lot.Very apt considering what happened in Texas.

Thanks, Michele. I always love writing Shirley and I enjoyed getting the opportunity to show a bit of her more maternal side. I'm glad you liked the way I handled Parker. I don't write her nearly enough and haven't watched the recent seasons of the show as much as I should, so I'm happy that I was able to capture her voice well. I haven't seen "Thelma & Louise" in a while, but her character has always stayed with me and I was glad to be able to play with the emotions she kept hidden as she projected this strong woman to the rest of the world.
