No Friday Five this week because, frankly, the questions scare the beejeezus out of me. I don't think anyone needs to know what's under my sink, thanksmuch.

Instead I bring you...more really queer fiction! No one but canth & utilitygeek will be familiar with these women, but they belong to The Principle of Butter Churns, the first full-length play I ever wrote ( Read more... )

writing, fiction, queerness

Heh. I vaguely remember that. Good piece. Needs less football and more sport I like. :-) Naw. On second thought, full contact sports do seem to reflect the idea of romance and marriage. Or am I just too cynical today?

I've been reading what you've been writing in LJ, and I like most of it (which is more than I can say for most authors).

I'd really like it if you'd send me the script from your last production (Canth raved about it). could you email me a copy? My contact info is in my user profile.

Thanks!

Thank you much, sir!, for your kind words about that there writing of mine. Normally, I'm not about football, either, but during my lunch break on one of my jury duty days (the day the creepy guy hit on me) I was watching 6 guys on lunch break (the denim team v. the khaki team) kick the crap out of each other in a touch football game in little tiny Rice Park, & I guess it stuck with me. I think it's a perfectly apt metaphor for marriage.

Script is en route even as we speak.
