leorathesane and I took Friday off from work. Hooray! We ran around doing a lot of house- and yard-cleaning and ran a lot of errands in anticipation of a wee small May Day bonfire that evening.

We have a lot of wild turkeys around here, even in the more urban areas. For a while, there was a flock of them harassing the people who patronized the various stores along one of our busier business areas.
