Seeing as how my lj is now named after a crochet stitch, I consider it only fitting that I write more about my ventures into the world of aforementioned craft. I'm bumfuzzled that I haven't written about it more. Hey, that is punk, isn't it? I didn't think about that, as "punk" is seldom a word I think of when I decide to crochet something for my mom and her Hospice patients. Thanks!

There's a fun optical illusion if you scroll the picture up and down the screen--it looks like the squares are changing size!

I noticed that! Actually, my first thought was that they were coming closer and then moving away. I spent a lot of time scrolling back and forth to keep looking at that.

It's cheap; it comes in big skeins, and it's been around forever. Somehow, it became the little-old-lady church bazaar crochet yarn of choice. This is very unfortunate. I will be avoiding this yarn as much as possible in the future.

Absolutely! Send 'er on over. Erm...is she someone I know, or is she just a cool person who crochets (obviously, she must be cool, if she crochets)?
