So much went on for me this Fringe: so many lessons learned, many of them unpleasant, but all of them essential. I'm certain to have lots more to say about my adventures in the weeks and months to come. For now, I wanted to relate my favorite ego-stroking moment of the festival

I'm very interested in reading your lessons learned from your (indeed great) show... I'm planning to do my own show next year so maybe I can learn some of the lesson in advance.

One thing I've been noticing and been oddly surprised by is how sensitive the artist are, even people who are established and get raved about and have been doing this for years and years. I mean it's one thing if everyone hates a show, but I've seen people with dozens of great reviews get upset over one bad one... and I think, come on! No one can please everyone! Cheer up! But will I be so logical and detached when I'm the one getting the bad review...

(Or hopefully just the bad review, and not the dozens and dozens... ahhhhh!)
