I'm putting together two costumes, and need make-up for each.

I'm fond of the Ben Nye and Joe Blasco stage makeups. They cover better than street makeup, obviously =P and they come in colors like "china red." I also used stencils to get the nice clean edges.

If you are willing to spend a bit more $$$ and have a MAC Pro Store near you, the Chromacakes are supposed to be fantastic for doing this sort of thing.

I used the red Ben Nye for transforming dedoc into Hellboy for Dragon*Con. It works OK, but I want something more opaque and matte.

Next time we pull out Big Red for D*Con, I am going to try the Chromacakes.
