Oh, oh, this was saddening and downright heartbreaking to read. Imagining Dongwoo going through this in real life, nay, imagining anyone having to go through such a thing in real life is terrifying.
Writing in such a style to emulate schizophrenia... You're very talented. It worked well, I think (like you, my experience with anyone having schizophrenia is nonexistent).
But yeah, fantastic job ^^

It would be a rather terrifying ordeal ;~~~~~; going through ANY kind of illness with a loved one is pretty much terrifying, and it would be a lot scarier if they don't even remember you/what they're doing/their personality changes like it does with mental illnesses :<

I'm glad you think that my representation was alright \o/ thanks for reading~

HI JO

I haven't actually read this yet but I was reading your author's note and wanted to throw in my two cents, which is that my English teacher in high school has a schizophrenic son, and she said it was literally that one day he was fine, and the next day he thought he was Tupac. So, it can be pretty darn fast, apparently.

NOW I WILL SIT DOWN TO READ THIS THING PROPERLY.

oh okay punches self repeatedly in the face

my face irl right now is ;~~~~; I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF >:|

Mild case of heartbreak aside, I like this! Well, "like" is maybe not the right word because lmao you know it's about schizophrenia. But it's definitely interesting. Difficult to read, but that's part of the impact, imo. And it's interesting to see mental illness approached from the perspective of the person experiencing it rather than those around them, and see the world filtered through that lens.

TL;DR - A+ would read again

...AHHHH omg no don't make that face ;~~~~; /gives you dongwoo

D: omg i didn't know that it could onset so quickly! i remember i looked at a couple of pages while getting an overview of the illness but most pointed to gradual or conditionally-affected onset (...which i guess as an idol could happen, like stress-induced schizophrenia ;;).

i was trying to get into dongwoo's head and present it through his eyes dlkfhjgf but but but omg it's like first person and hugely experimental and disjointed word salad which means it's weird and impossible to read idk what i was thinking ._. derps but thank you for attempting it ;A; ♥

I think it might be rare, but she told us the story about how they were on vacation and all of a sudden everything was totally like... yeah idk ;__; I don't know much about the condition itself so I'm not sure how comparatively common such a fast onset might be.

LMAO IT'S GOOD it's much less difficult to read than it probably seems to you! I mean, it doesn't always make sense, but not in an "I can't get through this" kind of way, more like in a disorienting, atmospheric kind of way. IMO anyway :")
