OMFG... I haven't made it past the first bit of news. I'm gonna need some time before my brain will be able to deal with anything else.

Half of the match in our shirt, half in their shirt?! That's so awesome, it's right off the scale. It has blown the awesome-meter. And, apparently, my mind, LOL.

And do you know what? - this is EXACTLY what we need. Hell, I'd have been overjoyed to have Raúl back home and spending the whole 90 minutes scoring against us. Just having the man on the pitch at the Bernabéu, in ANY jersey, would do me a power of good. The fact that he'll be spending some time wearing OUR jersey is just the cherry on top.

D'ya think that maybe we could find a jersey for José María, and sub him in at some point? I mean, the man will be attending the match anyway, I'll bet - so we might as well get him on the pitch, and make my life complete. The awesome-meter could catch fire, if that were to happen :)

I seriously doubt that PSG will let Ancelotti go.

He has a buy-out clause.

ETA: LOL - it turns out it's only 4 million!

And here I was...worried!

Aaaaand it continues: Xabi has had surgery (http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/Actualidad_Primer_Equipo_en/1330151033221/noticia/ParteMedico/Xabi_Alonso_s_medical_report.htm - FFS club, that's not enough information!) and Chori is commentating on Arbie and Iker's relationship (http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2013/06/07/seleccion/1370607301_125907.html), saying that maybe it's cooled a bit, but it's not bad, that he hopes it's fixed, that Mou's mess was a problem for everyone, but he's gone now and that he's comfortable in Madrid, it's the best club for him, but if he one day has to leave Madrid, Valencia will be on his mind. Plus some love for Pipa.

I wonder what fans on 'normal' clubs do in the off-season, with no daily drama to keep them occupied.

Dammit. I was hoping it was just a sex injury. He went to Germany for the surgery, and they're supposed to be the best, right? RIGHT?! So I guess they've been loading him up on painkillers for the past couple of months. When I think about that last second clearance to save the goal against Man United, I cringe for him. Hearing he's out for 2-4 months. He'll miss pre-season then. I'm glad he's doing this now instead of next year though. I will have been crying in a corner if this were to happen next year before the World Cup. Heal and come back pain free Xabi!

And so I guess we're stepping up the search for a defensive midfielder. DUN DUN DUN!!!!!

We cannot have nice things this season. At all.

The Germans apparantly have 'Europe’s first and primary specialized Hernia Center', so that sounds comforting at least. Sort of. Though I fully expect yet another article bemoaning Madrid players' lack of patriotism when chosing medical services in the coming days, because why not?

Looking for the silver lining, I guess it's a good thing that we're forced to look for back-up to Alonso, instead of just hoping he'd keep together with duct tape and hope. Not that we shouldn't have been doing that anyway, but yk, Perez.
