They're probably going to recommend a dental cleaning...which runs around $300+ >_>;; At least the clinic where I work it does. x_X;; And yeah, that's odd that he has it so bad since he eats dry food. Lame. Also, if he has fleas, so do Ed and Al. >.< I can guarantee it.
I wish you the best of luck!

hmmmmmmm... He doesn't really have plaque though. His teeth are nice and white, but his gums are red and his breath is foul.

And we've already ordered the flea treatment for Ed and Al too. Not an infestation, but a few random itchies. Damnable insects.

Ah...yeah, that's true. There is a preventative vaccine you can get, but I'm not sure if it's for gingivitis. You'll have to tell me what your vet said. :P
And yeah, you get Frontline or something? If you ever do have an infestation, it's always good to save some CapStar on hand. Little pill will start killing the fleas within an hour. It's a miracle worker. :3

I swear by capstars. One of my cats and my dog are both violently allergic to fleas and the Capstars give Spike instant relief. They have something similar for dogs now too, thank goodness!

He doesn't seem to mind too much. He's still a chunk 'o cat, so he's not missing eating.
