I'm planning our trip to WDW... It's going to be in February now and what got me to plan it now was something called 'Buy four days, get three free :D

Out of what I glimpsed, yukatas seem to be cheaper due to lesser layers and purpose- which is to be able to wear it comfortably during warm weather. Kimonos has many, many layers and it's use (currently anyway) is mainly for special occasions so that costs quite a bit unless you run into a nice bargain/special or something. =]

I want a yukata... ;w;
Kimonos are pretty, but they might complicate my normal walking pattern which is anything but slow. ^^;

Oh yeah, like said, it's all assumption and what I've seen/heard so I don't know whether it'd apply wholly to what you are seeking for altogether. ^^;
