Japan trip 2012 - day 24 ~ Johnny's Dome Theatre SUMMARY Sexy Zone
I'm currently ill and my brain is a bit dead but I still want to write this post so I may have forgotten some details...If they were really "important", I'll add them when I'll write my 29th show report :3
On a SUMMARY day, the area around the City Hall is full of fangirls which is already quite impresive to see but when you add an AKB 48 concert at the Tokyo Dome the same day, it becomes more than crowded and AKB fans had to line between 4 and 5 hours to reach the place where they were selling goods .___.
So on August 24th, 9 days after the last Ebi SUMMARY we went to, sister and I put our special outfits on (This was taken in France some weeks ago, we'll probably take new ones in front of the City Hall on the 29th!) and headed to our second home in Tokyo~ ♥
We had first planned to attend every SUMMARY dressed like that but when we did it for our first show, we looked quite "ridiculous" among Ebi fans who were almost all very well-dressed. With Sexy Zone fans: no problem.
While we were walking around the hall before and after the show, we heared many "Look, they are from France!!", "How cute!!", "Oh Jr. Land!!" and it was really funny so we'll definately do it again for our last show, hoping that J-int will give us arena seats or 1st balcony, 1st row seats good seats to be seen from the stage so the boys can also notice us...
Anyway, back to this show.
How I have missed seeing the boys on stage ♥
We saw them in the street but it's different so I was really excited.
Sister and I weren't the first ones to enter the City Hall but for some reason (probably because all girls were fixing their hair/make up in the toilets), we were the first ones to enter the venue and it was SO COOL. We had 3rd balcony, 3rd row seats which are, let's be honest, not the best seats you could dream of (We couldn't see the top of the mansion and the SUMMARY sign above the stage as when we had tachimi tickets) but at least, we were inside and we were the first to see Sexy Zone getting ready to come on stage at the beginning ♥
So once again, we could see very well when the boys were getting ready before a perf, when staff members came on stage to help them and apparently, Shindo, KishiShin and two other Junior have been hired to be new staff members. They were there almost everytime but it was mostly to bring stuff on stage, to help Sexy Zone members before/after they had to fly and it was hilarious because they were still trying to dance while holding stage sets xD
Now that I have seen a real show, staff members are everywhere, everytime, they do what they have to do not even trying to hide and you never see them on the final DVD which is pretty amazing actually when you think about it.
While waiting for people to arrive, many girls were taking photos of the stage and staff members totally noticed it but didn't say anything so I also took one.
Thanks to this wonderful idea, we knew who was there, who wasn't and when all Junior removed their own sheet at the same time, it was just WOW ♥
We already noticed it when we went to the Jingu Gaien Hanabi Taikai but Sexy Zone fans are very demonstrative, especially this Kento fangirl who was behind us. She was really yealling like crazy and everybody kept turning back to look at her. At first I thought it was quite annoying but oh well, she was having fun so...x)
It was also hilarious to see how they were reacting to Syori, Kento and Fûma fan service like when they were stripping on stage,...
Sexy Zone SUMMARY didn't have a real theme like Ebi version so each member had his solo part except Mari and Sô who were together (Why??? >.>) and all parts weren't really linked to each other.
First was Syori part that was New York themed. I don't remember it exactly but I think he was with Fû and KishiYû and they sang maybe 2 songs? I'm sure the second was the Japanese version of New York, New York and I don't really know how to explain it but he first climbed the same stairs Fumi and DonguRyô were using for Kimi no mama de and he continued to climb but there weren't steps anymore so he was flying above the stage. Then there was this big white cylinder in the middle of the stage that was used as a screen to show New York city and he switched his position so he was hanged horizontally and it looked as if he was running on the top of New-York buildings ...
....Ok, I'm sorry, this is completely incomprehensible xD
I'm not Kento's biggest fan but his corner was, with Fûma, my favorite part.
He performed a new song (?) which title could have been something like Teleportation. He was with Junior like Kaji, Shizuya, Seiji, a little boy I have already noticed during Ebi SUMMARY but who I don't know the name (According to sister it may be Moritani Takumi...) and they are, in my opinion, part of the best dancers. Other Junior were in the mansion and the performance was very beautiful to see thanks to all the lighting effects ♥
As I said, Fûma part was also one of my favorite.
There was only a table with a glass on it on stage, enlightened by one spotlight. He put a red rose inside the glass and started to sing a capella a new love song (?). Nobody was talking, we were all only listening to him and then, he sang a capella but...without his mic! We were so surprised that we all went "Ooooh!". This guy has a wonderful voice *___* Some Junior came on stage, I remember about Genta and Matsukura Kaito dancing surrounded by water jets and at the end of the song, Fûma put another rose, white this time, inside the glass and then left the stage ♥
I don't remember exactly what was included in Mari x Sô part because they actually also sang with Sexy Boyz and I think it was 2 different parts....
There was this moment they were flying, one dressed in gold and the other in silver and on stage, DonguRyô and Mizuki were dressed the same way. Mari was fighting against Sô, DonguRyô against Mizuki, I know that DonguRyô won and he made this adorable victorious face xD
Back to Mari and Sô who also sang Ho! Summer flying in the air riding surf boards held by ropes held by KishiShin and his new staff member mates.
I think it was during the Sexy Boyz perf, DonguRyô, Ren and Yû (the roller skating boy who has one of the most beautiful smile I have ever seen *___*) were roller skating in the background. Yû and Ren both made backflips and then, DonguRyô got ready to do what was supposed to be a cartwheel but he kind of failed, it turned out to look horrible but it's DonguRyô so to me, it was adorable xD ♥
No guests but the MC part was pretty long and very funny mostly thanks to Mari who was absolutely adorable ♥
They were all talking about I don't remember what when Mari suddenly stopped the talk to say "I'm sorry but I have something to say. I have noticed this banana uchiwa (It was in the arena so we couldn't see it) and I was wondering, is it for Sô because he looks like a monkey or is it for Kento?" (I didn't understand Kento's reason...) and when the fan answered that it was for Kento, he just said "Oh ok, I was just wondering, thank you!" and Sô then said "What are you doing? You wanna fight??" xD
Mari also talked about something he said he did three days ago but Fûma said he was a liar since it was the day they had three shows so it was impossible but Mari kept pouting, saying that it was true and he was so cute ♥
When they talked about their upcoming single, Mari tried to teach us the choreography but he we couldn't understand anything so other members asked him to stop xD
They also talked about his full name, making fun of him because he couldn't say it well (Actually, I think it was because he tried to say it in a Japanese way so they could understand him better, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have sounded like how he said it in German), then they asked him how he wanted to be called and when he said "Mmh maybe something like Ryû-chan?", they all crackep up and the poor boy ended up pouting once again xD ♥
When Fûma made his Ai Kakumei impersonation, Mari was "dancing" next to him which was hilarious and Sô also made a very good "From Kamenashi Kazuya to Nakajima Kento" impersonation.
Oh right! They started the MC with fan calls and I know the "Ken Ken totto...Kentotto!" (Sô tried with "Matsushima...Shima Shima!!" xD ) but I have no idea what was Mari's one whereas apparently, fans knew x)
They then called KishiYû, Reia, Genki, Kaoru, Fû, Hani and Jinguji (hope I'm not forgetting someone...) who each introduced themselves. KishiYû's mic was broken and they kept teasing him, calling him Koshi, Yoshi, Toshi, it was hilarious xD
Genki asked us "Genki desu ka?", we answered "Yay!!" and he then said "Iwahashi?" and we answered "Genki!!!" and he looked so embarassed of what he just did, it was adorable xD ♥
Fû was also hilarious when he asked us if we were all ok to head spin with him, Jinguji was definately the most popular and Kaoru seemed to be not very comfortable...
So Sexy Zone left the stage and it was time for the Junior medley~ Those who were on stage sang Never stop the music, Travis Japan sang Shelter, the Masuda, Shôki, Kishi, Hanzawa, Kadoi group sang Kamen (I think it was the last time we saw them since I'm pretty sure they'll go with Ebi to perform in Aichi...) and I think that was all.
Quick notes about group parts. Just like Ebi, first song was SUMMARY and last song was Yûki 100%.
During the show, they also sang Lady Diamond, If you wanna dance, Sexy Zone of course, Sexy Summer ni Yûki ga furu at least twice (maybe three times?), Kaze wo kitte, I see the light, Game and during the encore we had Kimi no tame boku ga iru, Suki sugite and With you. They also had a part that was called "Japanese corner" in which Kento was flying in the air riding a dragon and they made a Japanese drums performance that I liked a lot.
I really loved both Sexy Summer perf ♥
For the first one, it was a slower version than the original song and they were flying on swings. They were each supposed to face a camera but actually, they couldn't control their swing at all so when it was Kento's turn to appear on the screen, we only saw the back of his head and Mari and Sô were trying their best to fix their position to face the audience but it was impossible xD
In the second Sexy Summer performance, Kento played the piano and it was very beautiful ♥
I also really liked Game introduction in which Kento and Fûma, one dressed in silver and the other in gold, were riding a rectangular structure that was supposed to be a mirror so they were doing the same movements, it was pretty cool.
Oh I just remembered! There was a song, I don't remember which one, during which Sexy Zone came on stage carrying balls and they asked the audience to play with them. They were supposed to throw the ball to someone and this someone had to throw it back but some fans thought it was a gift, they didn't want to give it back and it was hilarious to see the boys (the one I could see the most was the poor Sô) trying to make them understand that no, it wasn't for them xD
Sexy Zone and I see the light were the last songs. They were inside a big yellow cage decorated with red roses and it wasn't as impressive as what Ebi did inside their round yellow cage during Bokura ~LOVE and PEACE~ and Ashita no tame ni boku ga iru but I'm not expecting Sexy Zone members to do crazy things like Ebi so it was a great way to end the show before Yûki 100% and the encore.
They maybe have the same Johnny's Dome Theatre SUMMARY name but both show were completely different and I think they can't really be compared. To me, Ebi version was like "A.B.C-Z will show you what they can do" whereas Sexy version was more like "Sexy Zone will show you what they have learned" which is perfectly normal.
So I liked the show very very much and I can't wait to go to see it again on 29th with J-int tickets even it this will also mean that 2 days later, we'll be back to France...
