When I woke up this morning, I took my shower and since I had no plans for today, I stayed in my pajamas.
So there was only me working in my room and my mom who was still sleeping when someone knocked on the door.
I already wrote before that one of the things that scares me the most is to talk on the phone.
Well another is to open the door when I'm "alone" at home.
Expecially when I'm wearing this lovely white and purple pajama shirt whith printed strawberries, flowers and running rabbits on it and which makes me look like a 4 years old girl.
Thank you for making me panic early in the morning Mr. Postman~ ♥
On another note...
A.B.C-Z DUET APRIL 2012 TRANSLATION DONE!! (ノ^o^)ノ
Mmh what can I say about it...
Well first it was sooooo long to do. But it was fun and I really hope you will enjoy reading it~
I wanted to post it yesterday to celebrate Ebi documentary but I only finished it today...
I really did my best but I'm neither a native speaker in Japanese nor in English so there might be some mistakes, sorry about that (^_^;)
Then I think I love A.B.C-Z. Really.
They are awesome.
And amazing.
And funny.
And cute.
And I love them.
If I had to do a heartbreaking choice, I would say Ryosuke is my favorite member but reading this interview, I really fell in love with Tsuka. ♥
If they can make me feel this happy and excited and stupid only with a magazine interview, then I'm looking forward to see this「A to Z」~Shijou Saikyou no Johnny's Jr. Tsuini Debut~ documentary ♥
Gocchi, Tsuka, Tottsu, Fumi, Ryosuke
A fan book to know everything about A.B.C-Z. 5 stars timelessly connected ☆
A.B.C-Z who just debuted!
This month, with childhood pictures and duet first appearance pictures, we will introduce to you the real A.B.C-Z!
● A.B.C-Z's good sides
We can do everything we want even if at first we are thinking "Can we really do this?"
It was the same about the debut DVD, I knew we could do it because we are A.B.C-Z.
I have the feeling that we can become an incredible group.
I'm also looking forward to see what A.B.C-Z will be able to show in the future!
● A.B.C-Z's bad sides
We need to improve our acrobatic skills but also, if we have the opportunity to apper on a TV show, I think we need to work on how to show ourselves when we are not performing.
Being able to express our real human nature, it's something we have to work on now.
● A.B.C-Z's good sides
The fact that we will always move forward and the power of our team work.
When we are performing acrobatics, the tiniest mistake can take our lives away so during rehearsal, we have to be very careful and I think it actually strengthen the link between us.
● A.B.C-Z's bad sides
To be honest...I have the feeling that the number of boke compared to tsukkomi is really low. (laugh)
Also, when Kawai is doing a tsukkomi and many people are around him, his laughing voice sounds really loud.
(The boke person is the one always making mistakes or saying stupid things and the tsukkomi is the smarter one, generally railing the boke for his mistakes. So Tsuka says that there is more bullying persons=tsukkomi than persons being bullied=boke.)
● A.B.C-Z's good sides
Maybe the fact that every member treasures A.B.C-Z.
Compared to other groups, we are full of confidence and pride.
We also have common consciousness, it's the same about dance so I think we can always become one.● A.B.C-Z's bad sides
When we are on TV shows...Especially on live broadcast.
We give the feeling that we are not used to the place yet.
We will have to gain experience but I don't think we need to become "TV people".
We have both our TV side and our butai side and they don't need to match each other.
● A.B.C-Z's good sides
Our high physical strength and our friendship.
When we are working, even if we didn't plan all the details before, everything always matches perfectly, as if we were one.
We really trust in each other, so when we try to do something new, we know we are five and there is nothing to worry about. ● A.B.C-Z's bad sides
We don't have any negative point.
If there is only one persone or if we all think "This is not right", then we change what needs to be changed, we can't pretend not to have noticed it.
If there were still bad sides, we wouldn't have debuted!
● A.B.C-Z's good sides
We are all friends. We won't lose to any other group.
Ah, it may be a close battle between Arashi and us but I think we can't lose!
Everyone has his own personnality, it's a group I can proudly talk about.● A.B.C-Z's bad sides
When we are in front of the camera, we become so nervous we can't say all the funny things we wanted to say...
But we will get used to it.
It's only the beginning so after we gain experience, we will be able to do it properly.
So don't worry, we'll be alright!
╰☆╮
I totally do things at my own pace. When work is over, I'm always the last to leave. (laugh)
Maybe it's because the time before I actually move is really long.
Mornings are horrible~. I plan everything before like "Tomorrow I have to be at work at 10am so if I want enough time to take a shower and to eat something, I need to get up at 9am".
So morning comes, I look at my watch and think "It's already this time...I give up on my shower." and I go back to sleep during the time I'm supposed to take a shower.
Then I wake up again and think "I can eat later." so I go back to sleep.
And it's when I finally think "I should really go now..." that I properly get up. (laugh)
My hobbies are...My hobbies...
I'm always asked that but it's actually the question I'm trying to avoid the most.
I think I want people to say "Goseki's private life is an enigma". (laugh)
I don't have hobbies like reading manga or playing games.
Maybe watching people dancing. I often go to see stage plays and I also watch foreign dancers' videos when I'm at home. Lately, I discovered Nick Bass when I saw him in the movie "This is it".
I like to take things easy. I'm good at dance. The first time I danced was during my audition.
I still remember how I thought "Dancing makes me really feel good".
Sometimes I ask myself "How can I improve my dancing skills?" but I'm not the kind of person who thinks too much so I just do it in my own way and see how it turns out.
Of course, basis are important but when you are a Johnny's, you learn those basis just before going on stage for real. (laugh)
And thanks to that, I think there are many people who are able to show their own personnality.
When you are dancing, the most important is to stick to who you are.
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about "ABC Za" MC corner.
I have those four persons by my side and there is all those fans who are supporting A.B.C-Z in front of me.
I am really touched by all the warmth you can feel in this theater.
About the MC content, I depend a lot on what the others are saying~
I want to be able to speak more spontaneously or I will always be silent during live broadcasts. (laugh)
Maybe people will start to think I'm cool if I can improve my speaking skills?
● Hashimoto talks about Goseki
He listens to all my selfish thoughts and he takes care of me.
When I say "I'm so hungry-" he answers "Then let's go to eat something." and even when I keep saying "I want to do this", "I want to do that" one after another, he always says "Let's do it then".
At first I thought he was a scary person but in fact, he is the one I stay the most with and that makes me really happy.
● Kawai talks about Goseki
Dance is his best weapon and his choreography sense is amazing.
He looks cool because his aura is very unique.
He is also able to talk very well but when he is in front of other people, he can't talk at all. What a waste!
From now on, I want him to be able to talk and to be in front.
By the way, his private life is an enigma. A complete mistery.
There were times it was bothering me but lately, it just feels like "This is how Goseki-kun is".
● Tsukada talks about Goseki
Goseki-kun is very calm. When something happens, he is able to stay calm all the time and it feels like he makes the all atmosphere change. Things can't fail when he is there.
I think even Goseki-kun makes mistakes while dancing but there isn't anyone who already noticed it.
On a side information, his shower time is always too long.
And he also plays a lot on his phone. Could he be a game lover!?
● Totsuka talks about Goseki
When I come to think about it, Goseki-kun and I don't really have any memories together-.
We also never had a proper talk. And when it's just the two of us, my heart beats faster. (laugh)
Maybe it means that Goseki-kun and I are the kind of friends that are watching over each other too much.
So from now on, I think I will try to read the atmosphere around him by staying away, keeping a safe distance between us.
╰☆╮
If I had to chose between herbivores and carnivore, I would say I'm a carnivore type.
Nothing about the fact that I like meat, I'm talking about my own personnality. (laugh)
I would say that because I like outdoor activities, I like moving and I also eat a lot.
Ah- but even if I describe myself as a carnivore, I'm not aggressive toward other people.
If I were an aggressive person, people wouldn't say to me "You're a scatterbrain".
But to be honest, I don't understand why people think I am a scatterbrain.
I don't feel like being one. They are times I take the wrong costume when we are backstage.
Our costumes are hanging on a line and I always take the one next to mine.
And I don't notice it until someone says "Mine is gone!", then understand "Ah, it's Tsuka-chan's one." and comes to see me.
Maybe people think about this as a scatterbrained attitude... But I really do my best to avoid this you know.
I'm happy when people say to me "You look so energetic". To be honest, the only moments I'm not feeling good are when I'm watching TV alone and when I'm sleeping. (laugh)
This year again, I have decided to keep a "Whatever you are doing, stay positive!" attitude so I'm happy with that "energetic" personnality.
We are humans so of course we make mistakes, I even think that I do more mistakes than other people, but if you stay down, nothing will ever change right?
So you have to think "It's fine to fall down, keep on running and if you have to fall, then to do it in a powerful way.
And instead of breaking the walls behind you, break the ones in front of you so you can try to start something new."
Then you may think it has nothing to do with my own body but I like watching soccer.
I can't really do it when we are on butai periods but I often watch soccer in the middle of the night.
Things like English Premier League, Italian Serie A.
I'm interested in soccer for half a year maybe-.
Goals are the most important parts but I also watch how the player who is holding the ball moves.
I also think that analyzing the formation is interesting.
● Hashimoto talks about Tsukada
I'll share this story just between you and me but, before we go on stage, Tsuka-chan prays while looking at my butt.
Maybe he prays for the butai to be successful...I don't know!
Do I need to ask him why he does that? (laugh)
Tsuka-chan is always doing little strange things like that.
Everyone gives him this calm, kind and cool image but in fact, you are all biaised by this "Tsuka smile"! (laugh)
● Kawai talks about Tsukada
Without this man, our group name (Acrobat Boys Club) don't have a sense.
If you take away his acrobatic skills part, he just become a smiling brother...
His best point is to be able to combine his smile with his acrobatics skills.
His weak point is that he gets bored easily. When I said to him "Lately, I saw that you were reading newspapers!", he stopped buying it during a whole month. And he was only reading celebrities related news. (laugh)
● Totsuka talks about Tsukada
He is someone who both wants to be loved and is bullied. He is a very "heartwarming" person.
He always gives 120% so when we are doing butai for a long period, more than anything else, I'm worrying about Tsuka-chan's body. I pray god to give Tsuka-chan's body all the strenght it needs.
Maa, he is always eating meat so I think he will be ok.
But it would be great if I could remember to give only 80% or 100% sometimes. (laugh)
● Goseki talks about Tsukada
I already said it several times before but he always gives 120%!
I wonder where he finds all this power. Meat? No, I think he has it since he was born.
After work, he often takes my coat instead of his and go home like that, it's different from Ryosuke but he is also a scatterbrain...
Lately, he gives 120% in both his acrobatics and during MC so I think Tsuka-chan's true self is more and more showing.
╰☆╮
If I had to describe myself, I would say I have a contradiction spirit.
If everyone goes right, I'll go left, if everyone goes forward or backward, I'll go left or right.
I just choose to go where I like and I don't really understand why I'm that different from others.
Maybe our feelings are not the same. That's why I think I'm not easy to catch.
I won't let myself be catched easily.
It happened before right? During a duet shooting, I said "I know everyone prefers me with a shorter haircut but I want to let it grow now." and then some days later, I was bald.
Because I'm like that, only doing whant I want to do, I think I make everyone become crazy.
So I really feel for my fans, it must be tough for them. (laugh)
What I want the most is to do things that will resound and remain in people's hearts.
I think all human feelings are linked together.
For example, if you are playing someone who is angry, it can also be seen as someone who wants to cry, so I want to be able to show this borderline between human feelings when I perform.
I respect Nishikiori (Kazukiyo) san for being able to do this.
Nishikiori-san is really good, you think he is just playing around and then he suddenly has a knife...
He can be very harsh but he can also have a very heartwarming attitude.
In order to become like him, I started to copy his gestures but it's a never-ending task. Moreover, if I want to surpass him, I need to find my own style.
In private, I think I'm a nice person. There aren't many things that annoy me, I don't get mad at people often.
It's not that I don't care because in fact, I really care about every detail.
During The Shounen Club recordings, when Kisumai and Junior are on stage and I see everyone is having fun, I begin to think "I wonder if I'll be able to be that fired up too..." so I feel really nervous and when recording is over, I think "It wasn't good at all..." as if I had just lost a battle.
I feel like this everytime but I never say it. It would surprise everyone right? (laugh)
But you know, this is also the real me.
● Hashimoto talks about Totsuka
He is a direct, straight person. His heart is big. And he is kind.
He is also very strict towards himself, for me he is a man among other men.
Before I joined A.B.C-Z, I already wanted him to be my older brother but if I were a woman, I'll definitely chose Tottsu as my boyfriend.
I will be very jealous of Tottsu's girlfriend. Because Tottsu is really someone who gives kindness more than he receives.
● Kawai talks about Totsuka
Among us five, he is the most unique and he is the one who has the most personal experience.
He also thinks about the other members more than anyone else and he always gives all his strength whatever we are doing. I respect him a lot.
We are often working on MC parts together and even if we didn't have the time to organize properly it before, I'm not worrying because I know it will always go right with Tottsu.
I'm looking forward to our future talks.
● Tsukada talks about Totsuka
He never follows what other people do and he has a big heart. That's why to me he his a very strong person.
I always cause trouble to Tottsu...Last month, I poured water in the hotel room I was sharing with Tottsu and he scolded me and there are lots of other examples. (sweat)
He also knows a lot of good restaurants. Maybe it's because I'm eating with Tottsu that the food becomes that good.
● Goseki talks about Totsuka
Among us five, he is the one with the most different activities and experiences.
When he was a regular in "Hanamaru Market" and people were meeting us five, everyone welcomed A.B.C-Z with a smile.
I think it's thanks to Tottsu's personnality.
He loves butai and movies, he collects a lot of informations and emotions from everywhere he goes, he represents another side of the group.
╰☆╮
First of all, more than anything else my motto is "Having fun".
Kamenashi (Kazuya) kun said "Kawai is really good at being able to adapt himself to any kind of place" but I feel more like "Let's enjoy today!".
I don't really have any particular hobby but if I have to say, maybe to go shopping. The other day, I went to that shop after a long time and I bought some adult feeling clothes. (laugh)
Usually, I go shopping alone. I can't go with another member. I have the feeling that our fashion sense can't match together.
I'm good at impersonations, I'm currently studying Katori Shingo-kun's reactions.
When I see him doing something on TV, I try to do it or say it myself.
And sometimes, I'm thinking "Maybe he could do this." and then he actually does!
Also I can play the drum just a little. Lately, I became interested in aroma organic products, shampoo for example. Am I a woman? (laugh)
But I honestly like this pleasant feeling. I also use organic makeup remover.
In A.B.C-Z, I'm doing my best with the talk parts but there was a time I couldn't talk in front of people because I was so embarrassed!
When I had to stand up alone, I was starting to overthink about "What will I do if it turns out to be bad?".
During the butai "One!" with Takizawa (Hideaki) kun, there were times I wasn't able to answer back to Takizawa-kun when we were doing ad-libs.
Backstage, I was thinking "I'm really bad at ad-libs" and was feeling depressed...
It was so painful I really wanted to change. So if I'm now able to talk that well, it's thanks to Takizawa-kun's butai "One!". Thank you Tackey!
But live broadcasts are still very scary!
I remember how I was anxious about our first one. Everyone kept saying "You just have to be who you really are."
I will never forget this feeling.
From now on, I want to have lots of butai and concerts and I also want to be more on TV!
My dream is to be able to do an impersonation in front of Tunnels-san. (laugh)
I want to take part in variety shows.
(Tunnels are Japanese talents.)
● Hashimoto talks about Kawai
Fumito could work at a shop clothes because his fashion sense is good. And he tells me where to go when I say "I'm looking for OO".
We really are good friends but in fact, Fumito is always scolding me.
"Do it properly!" he says. But even if I am doing my best, I think Fumito still sees me as a child.
● Tsukada talks about Kawai
He is the main person inside the group. He was the one who decided about "ABC Za Star kouen" storyline, he can talk about serious things, he can also make people laugh...As expected from him!
Lately, he often says to me "You're interesting." or "Your personality is showing.". This is Kawai's way to kindly bully me.
He always takes care of me (laugh).
● Totsuka talks about Kawai
He has a great sense of responsability. When it comes to work, he is really serious about that responsability feeling.
For example, when we were doing "Shounentachi" rehearsals, he was injured but he kept saying "I want to stand up in front of the audience!". So he did his best, pushing his own limits and he was there when the curtain opened!
I sometimes hear people who says that Fumito has a "rival spirit" but it's not true.
He always thinks about the group work.
● Goseki talks about Kawai
He has both a loud side and a quiet side. During reharsals, when we are trying new things, his ability to gather everyone is amazing.
Also when we are working with younger kids, he and Ryosuke become the mood makers and everybody get fired up.
And when he feels everyone is very nervous, he knows it's time to stop. Being able to have this balance is something great.
His weak points are rollercoasters and menma. (a Japanese condiment made from lactate-fermented bamboo shoots)
But when a camera is running, he can do anything. (laugh)
╰☆╮
I used to say I'm a loud person, I'm a 18 years old scatterbrain...But in fact, I don't think I'm a scatterbrain.
Eh Tsuka-chan said the same? That's bad. (laugh)
But you know, during my elementary school period, all my school marks were over 90!
Saying that, I wonder why I became like this...Ah I know.
I joined Johnny's when I was about 10 and at that time, I was being bullied by some senpai.
I wanted to be able to stand up in front of my rivals so I thought I should do funny things so they can think I am cute.
I did my best thinking "I'll definitely make my senpai laugh!".
So it's not about being a scatterbrain, I became the "funny person" I was aiming to become.
(Shibutani) Subaru-kun told me before "Stop trying to be cool. Keep your cool side for singing parts so during talks, just show your true self."
I must keep that promise now. (laugh)
In my private life, I do things properly. If you ask my friends, they will tell you "He is a serious person."
I'm not kidding. Because where I live, there are lots of people more scatterbrained than me.
And I also have a strong tsukkomi side.
If you ask my family as well, they will tell you that I'm serious.
I often clear the table and when there is something to do, I'm the first to volunteer.
So...In the end, all I wanted to say is that "I do things when I have to". (laugh)
If I have some free time, I would like to stay at home doing nothing...Ah, no, I can't say that!
People will think "Hashimoto just debuted and he is already tired".
I want to give a living feeling so that's not good.
(He decides to correct himself)
Mmh you know, if I have some free time, I want to go on a trip! During butai, I often play with (Watanabe) Shôta and I want to go to Okinawa with him.
Tsuka-chan, take us there~.
● Kawai talks about Hashimoto
Whatever we are doing, he can remember everything much better and faster than us four and that's amazing.
He has a great sense of responsability, and from now on, I would like him to do more and more different things and to be able to lead the group with his own strength.
And more than anything, he likes being complimented, fans should remember that. (laugh)
● Tsukada talks about Hashimoto
Inside A.B.C-Z, he is the most honest. He always speaks his mind.
In fact, it seems like we often fight but it's just our way to talk to each other.
Thinking about it, I noticed he does more body training lately but he seems to have some trouble.
I would like him to ask me when something bothers him. When it comes to body training, leave it to me!
● Totsuka talks about Hashimoto
He is someone who wants to be loved all the time.
Nobody can take Hasshi's freedom away.
Also we completely have the same interests and tastes.
Clothes, music, movies, we think "This one is great" about the same things.
But I don't like being like other people so when I look at Hasshi, it makes me think "I need to change now". (laugh)
● Goseki talks about Hashimoto
He has many different sides.
On one hand, he looks older, he can be seen has a adult and he catches people's hearts with his sexy singing voice.
But on the other hand, he is a scatterbrain, he likes when people take care of him and he has this cute little brother side.
During MC, when he says things that make fans heart skip a beat, he never prepares his sentences before, he just speaks his mind spontaneously. He is a very honest person.
╰☆╮
● Duet first appearance
It was supposed to be a normal lesson day so when I was called for this interview, I felt like I was entering a new world and I was very happy.
I remember that I've been asked about my hobbies and had trouble to answer. (laugh) (Decembre 98)
● As a child
I was raised between my older sister and my little sister so I liked being alone.
When I wanted to play with lighters for example, I was always alone.
I asked my parents about a transformation belt I wanted but they told me "We know you'll get tired of it after 3 days" so they never bought me one. (tears)
● Duet first appearance
"I'm aiming to become like TOKIO. My hobby is guitar" is what I said.
I remember it was an interview right after a TOKIO concert.
You could already notice my easy going side. (laugh) (June 2000)● As a child
Even in winter, I was always wearing half trousers and short sleeves.
When I was in kintergarden, I was the one stealing my friends things and in elementary school, I was doing jump attacks to reach for the "Class OO Year OO" board above the door in order to break it.
I was really a troublemaker kid...
● Duet first appearance
Uwa, what an expressive face!
It was during a physical strength measurement project, we were already together as Billy (Kawai) and Bobby (Totsuka) and the fact that we are debuting in the same group several years later is awesome. (November 2000)● As a child
I was completely known as the mischievous bald kid!
When something happened at school, I was always the first to be suspected.
I was often angry, I had bruises all the time but I think it was the time I was Totsuka Shota the most.
● Duet first appearance
I always wanted to become a Johnny's so when I had this first interview, I was very happy and I had the feeling that it was a new step.
My face hasn't changed since I was a baby. (laugh) (June 2000)● As a child
I really was a mama's boy. When I was in kindergarten, I was always crying and didn't want to leave my mom.
I maybe became stronger when I began baseball when I was about 8.
I heard that I have this name because my parents were hesitating between Fumiya and Naoto.
● Duet first appearance
When you see it now, you may think "He is so young-" but at that time, my body was an adult one and when I was walking, I was always told "Is this a randoseru he is carrying on his back!?" (June 2005)
(A randoseru is the backpack commonly used in Japan by elementary schoolchildren.)● As a child
At school I was very loud, I wanted everyone to notice me but at home, I was a very mature child.
Even if my older sister and I were often fighting.
When I was about 10, I was often mistaken for a girl.
