What's Not to Like?

Heh.  So here it goes:  What kinds of things do I not like in my fiction?

1. Oodles of schmoopy, perfect, straight love.  If I wanted in on a het love story I will send my significant other a text message and we will try to out-cheese each other.
2. "Soulmate" love.  "Foe Yay" seems to so much better in that the angst is more believable and there is actual

Nobody. >_< This is just me being defensive over the amount of real person fiction I've been reading lately. I feel like my soul's being eaten up by fan fiction, yet again. Not really the best time, as there's a very busy spell at work coming up, but when is there ever a good one?
