[The video feed is on thanks to the Professor clumsily dropping the gear. There's a lot of yelling as she runs back and forth, passing by the camera several times. Each time she passes by, a Ditto and Voltorb follow after her a few seconds later. Also, each time she passes by the gear, she's moving one egg.

[And now the gear swivels in tiny hands. Has Saber ever seen a Voltorb give the gear a death glare before? With a Ditto...crawling over it? There is nothing about this that makes sense.]
