Also, I remember very early in the year when I'd had an HRC sticker on my bag, and you mentioned that you'd done volunteer work for them or something, and I immediately thought, "okay, she's cool in my book!"
we were waiting for the bus just off broadway and you were talking to devon about something and made some happy gesture with your hands, the lighting was just right and you were smiling as you said something to your boy, the pitch of your voice rose and fell like it does, and i thought you were someone who can function quite smoothly and looks great when stirred up. it was kind of an artsy moment, seeing a little something of your character.
Being initially confused about what we were to call you since we already had a Cat in the group. Parts of Shepard from this year although I wasn't around a ton. Shaking my head about some of the circumstances and people who seem to find you (I empathize. The crazies find me too. Also no, Devon, I'm not talking about you, it's ok).
I haven't gotten the pleasure of having many memories with you thus far, but I'll give you a highlights reel (sans, of course, the awesome memory Brenton took XP)
The first time I talked with you on the phone. I remember thinking silmultaneously "so this is the famous Kei!" and "her voice is different than I thought it would be..."
The time we went out to gelato together and talked future things.
