I'm working with a barbershop where I can film my haircut. We've settled on shooting (and haircutting!) on April 22nd

A couple of thoughts. It is probably best to remove the blue color with a color remover (reductor) like Color Oops or Uncolor. There are two way to remove permanent color from hair. Bleach or a reduction remover like the two above. Bleach is way harder on the hair, but the reduction products are not 100% complete. I have found that you really might need to do a light bleach after Color Oops to get a consistent canvas for the red. Your hair will be in much better shape using a reduction reaction vs. the oxidation reaction from a heavy bleach.

BTW: There a bunch of home remedies for color removing including Dawn Dish Detergent, Vitamin C, Head and Shoulders Shampoo. YouTube is filled with them.

In any case, I look forward to the video of the cut and the coloring. Are you going short enough to need a little hot lather around your hairline? Should be exciting for you!

I'm going to a barbershop about four hours away. I didn't see an barberettes at the shop, but their extremely short haircuts are amazing.

1) Have to told anyone at work you were cutting your hair? What comment did you get?

2) Just between me and you, if you could would you shave your head again?

Will you be doing a "YouTube live" the day, or a few days after, your hair cut?

It would be a great way to show the cut off.
