I have officially discovered why I make so many guy costumes. It is simply because that fancy lady dresses are ridiculously hard for me. Now off to attempt to make patterns for Syaoran's jacket, which upon further inspection has also become ridiculous.

It looks like it doesn't affect how well you two would match, so go for the manga version, it looks a billion times better (although the only difference seems to be the shade of red and gold?)

I vote for the manga version, I've always been a fan of a lot of the manga versions when it comes to clamp and a lot of other series.
