my first earthquake

Well, that was weird.  I didn't even really know what was happening.  I was slicing cheese in the kitchen when I felt a large truck going by.  Then when no truck came and I heard Dorothy with a concerned tone say "Lance" from the front, I knew something was going on.  Then we stood in a doorway

That was your second earthquake, actually. Your first was during ass-sitting day a couple years ago, you were surprised when we all told you it was an earthquake and turned on the TV to show you everyone freaking out.

I guess it's kind of odd being in a 6-foot-tall tower when an earthquake hits.

Even odder when you're on the 8th floor of an office building!
