Ed's been getting hungry for a few days now, so he's decided that he may as well let Shader poke at him to see if he can eat the same way she and the others did. So, after letting his brother know where he was going, he headed off for the house at the beach, hoping that at least somebody might be there and not all over in their own original reality

It's Florette who opens the door after a few minutes She's casually dressed in sneakers, jeans, and a t-shirt. "Hello, Edward," she says with a smile.

"Hi Florette. Is Shader in?" Ed's stomach lets out a slight gurgle that causes him to facepalm and also probably gets to serve as an explanation for why he's asking for Shader.

"Yes," Florette says. "I was about to go out for a run, but I'll go get her, please come in." She steps aside to allow Ed to enter, then heads down the hall, calling for Shader.

"Okay. Thanks." Ed follows her in and waits at the entrance area.

"Okay, then," Shader said, and began announcing each change in frequency. "One percent...two..."

Ed fidgets as he listens and waits.

[sinner01]

Shader pauses her count, and gives him a grin. "Just relax, deep even breaths ...3...4...5...6..."

Ed nods and tries to concentrate on his breathing.
