Nothing makes me feel self-righteously wise better than finding out that one of my silly superstitions is correct. To wit: Keep your gas tank as full as possible in winter to avoid getting water in there

I didn't know that about not filling up at gas stations that are getting their shipment, I appreciate the advice. I don't think we've ever had a problem with gas lines freezing up here, we do have covered parking which makes a big difference as to your car's temperature
