heh - recently got a catalog in the mail that has lots of t-shirts. One design made me think of you - "If you woke up this morning, it's because Jack Bauer spared your life."

Hillsborough (and several incidents like it) were recently profiled on an "engineering disasters and what we have learned from them" show.

That was the week it was hot and humid at night.

I had nightmare after nightmare about being at Hillsborough.

I remember being appalled and confused. I just couldn't understand how something like that could happen.

Hillsborough was much more affecting than CoE. You could just feel the growing horror and ecompassing futility and mayhem. *shiver*

Is anyone else confusing "The Waters of Mars" with The Waters of March? Anyone? Just me? I keep singing the song each time I see a reference to "The Waters of Mars." It's quite fitting!

I do things like that. I once had copies of A Raisin in the Sun on my desk for several days, and I kept singing to myself, "We had joy, we had fun, we had raisins in the sun." It was very annoying to me.
