I'm so happy to see someone else pimping the Conchords! YAY! I adore those guys! *hugs both*

I posted about them in my LJ back in June, after seeing them perform on a talk show, which made me tune in to for the show. And I've made friends watch their song videos from the show, and I think that piqued their interest, but so far no one's begging to see eps. I'm not a terribly successful pimp. *mope*

Btw, have you heard about the FotC radio show? It's out on CD in the UK, and there are clips of it up on YouTube. Neil Finn (Kiwi musician from Crowded House and Split Enz) had a role as himself, and was supposed to be hilarious (the Conchords' manager called him every week for advice), so I need to find the time to listen to those, too.

YAY. I do know about the radio show but haven't listened to much of it yet while hunting for fotc clips. I'm so buying the DVDs when they come out. You Tube has some of the radio show, and bits of other stuff, live performances, etc. Havent' bought their CDs yet, but I'm gonna. wheeee!

I totally nominated FotC for Yuletide, btw. :D :D

FotC fanfic? Wow, you know, I think only a fantastically good writer could ever do them justice, because their humor is really off-kilter, and often *terribly* subtle, almost in-jokey, and I think it would be difficult to capture. Here's hoping!

Hey, I love these guys! Been following them in New Zealand for a while now and I'm so happy they've gone international so others can get to enjoy them as much as I always have.
