It was six in the morning on a Saturday and Quinn was passed out in bed, sleeping happily and contently. Mostly because her life was pretty perfect. The man that was sleeping beside her? Her husband. Sam Evans. She was Mrs. Quinn Evans and the day they got married was the most perfect and special day to her, nothing could've topped it ( Read more... )

Sam couldn't think of anything he would want in his life more than everything he already had. He'd married the love of his life, and had two amazing children with her. He owned a comic book store - Comikazi - and business was going well. They had a beautiful home, a good life. He was happy, and all the happier knowing he made Quinn happy too ( ... )

Alyssa squealed and giggled when her daddy blew onto her stomach, it was always the one thing that made her completely lose it. Quinn just laughed a little bit as she watched them before Luke came over to Quinn and snuggled up with her. He was such a mommy's boy, just like Alyssa was a huge daddy's girl.

Alyssa's tiny hands finally took Sam's face though and she pushed his cheeks in so she could make him have fish lips before big green eyes were looking at him. "Daddy, I-I wants cakes," cakes for Alyssa meant she wanted pancakes, but for some reason she just only called them cakes, but even when she sometimes still spoke gibberish both Quinn and Sam seemed to understand her. "Caaaakes, daddy."

"Cakes, huh? Well... I think if Daddy gets a kiss good morning then he can make cakes," he chuckled low as he playfully pursed his lips back up at her. He loved his kids so much, but it was obvious that Luke was a Momma's boy and Alyssa a Daddy's girl. He was fine with that- he knew every kid had a parent they were like that with. Sam had always been a Momma's boy, though making his father proud was a huge driving force for him.

Alyssa scrunched up her little nose when Sam pursed his lips together before she leaned in to give him a tiny little kiss before she said with wide eyes. "Cakes now? And snerup," aka syrup. And then Luke piped up. "And strawberries!" Quinn just looked over at Sam and smiled. God, she adored him so much. The three of them were her world and she had wanted to work, but she also didn't trust just anyone to watch her kids while she worked. So, she decided for a little while to just stay home with the kids. Luke though had just started preschool and so for a few hours during the day it was only Alyssa and her, which was time to do girlie things. Dancing around, tea parties, barbies. Quinn knew both her kids were talented, Luke was more into guitar and music whereas Alyssa was into music and dancing.
