First date...

Taking a few hours to get ready, Quinn had done her hair, having taken a shower and straightened it, a tiny red bow clip keeping some of the short strands back. At 6:30pm, she changed into a white and red summer dress, something to show off her shoulders, which she loved. Granted, she pretty much loved everything about herself. If there is one of many things you can say about him, Jesse St. James is always punctual. He's never been late for anything his entire life. He pulls up into Quinn's driveway at exactly 6:58, and hops out of his car almost gracefully, still dressed in what he had worn earlier that day. But he did have a bouquet of flowers in hand, which was a nice touch, since he didn't fully know what Quinn really liked yet, other than power.

He strolled casually up the path, and knocked on the door with three, confident, quiet taps.

Power was always a plus, but it helped she actually had come to like Jesse and more than a friend. Well, obviously. She did say yes to them dating, but with his past, she wasn't sure if that was to give him one up on something, anything. She was a former cheerleader and still pretty popular, maybe he just wanted that power as well. Or to get back at Rachel. Nevertheless, she was glad for this date.

Answering the door after a moment or so, Quinn smiled when she saw Jesse standing there. And with flowers. Well, that was a pleasant surprise. Opening the door more, she motioned him in. "Hey. Come in."

Jesse's eyes may have lit up a fraction when Quinn opened the door, looking positively more unnaturally pretty than usual. But he was never one to show just how interested he was in the beginning.

"Quinn, you look stunning." he noted charmingly as he strode through the doorway, before spinning around and holding out the flowers. "I hope you're not allergic to tulips." Pale pink and white tulips, to be exact.

"Thank you," she said, her smile only becoming wider. When he spun around, she laughed a bit, happily taking the tulips. "No, I'm not. They're actually my favorite."

She gave the flowers a quick sniff before she motioned him to follow her to the living room. The snacks still there on the coffee table. "Have a seat, I'll go put these in some water. Did you want something to drink?"
