Time for Beth..

After having talked to Puck and sending a text to Shelby, it was about 6:55pm and Quinn had just finished setting up her webcam on her laptop in her bedroom. She was excited, nervous.. scared. Almost every emotion in the world at the moment knowing she was going to see her little girl. Puck's and her little girl, which she knew from a picture was ( Read more... )

Puck parked his truck in Quinn's driveway, taking deep breaths and trying to concentrate on slowing the pounding of his heart. He was going to see Beth for the first time since he and Quinn stood on the other side of the glass saying a last goodbye.

He sat in his truck for a few minutes, trying to get himself to chill out, before glancing at his watch. 6:58 pm. He slid out of his truck, going to the door of Quinn's house and ringing the bell. He shifted from one foot to the other nervously as he waited for her at the door.

Quinn had heard the bell and she was glad her mother was a work because Puck still didn't sit well with her. So, she didn't have to worry about her mom answering the door. Going down the stairs, somewhat hurriedly, she got to the door and opened it, having a small smile on her face at seeing Puck.

"Hey. I got everything set up upstairs," she said softly, opening the door more for him to come in. Quinn had actually fixed her make-up, redone her hair and put new, even nicer clothes on. She was worried about how Beth would see her, even though it wouldn't really matter.

"Hey," he replied as she let him into the house. He looked at her, dressed in different clothes than earlier and looking absolutely gorgeous. He cocked a small half-way grin, looking down at his own clothes: An Alice in Chains t-shirt underneath a plaid button down, and a pair of jeans. It was what he'd worn to school. "I didn't know we were supposed to dress up for this," he said, somewhat awkwardly, reaching across his chest to scratch his shoulder nervously.

"It's... It's almost time," he said checking his watch. "Are you ready for this?"

"We weren't. It's just.. I felt like I had to. I want her to see the best of me," she admitted as she led him upstairs. It was almost time and she could hear her heart pounding in her ears, her throat was dry and she felt a little shaky. The butterflies in her stomach wouldn't stop either.

"I think so. I'm.. nervous though. How about you?" In her bedroom she had her laptop open and ready on her desk, two chairs set up in front of it.
