[ Sion was trying to figure out a safe way to get near the blob with out getting trapped. She wanted to take a sample in order to run some tests on the alien-like being. An older man, short hair and heavy stubble finds Sion at some reasonable distance from the blob, perhaps shortly after the shooting attempt. Say hello to your new daddy, Sion.

"Never seen anything like this before." He glances at the gun and then back to the blob "It just soaked up the shot?"

It seems like the force dissipated after it hit the blob causing it to not go through all the way.

[She puts away the gun seeing it's of no use at this point.] I'd like to get a sample for further testing.

He stands, arms crossed and brow furrowed as he watches the thing.

"That's the problem with some larger targets like that. Things that would split at smaller sizes just soak the same pressure up when they're bigger. Be careful if you go closer, it looks like it's swallowing people up...they seem to be okay though."

He pauses and looks her over again.

"Do you live at 1664 Nelson?"

I'll have to figure out a different way to get a sample then. Though if one does get sucked in to it, the rate of being able to make it out with little to no bodily harm is quite high.

It wasn't my plan, but this blob is growing at a higher rate then I first predicted.

[She's pointing at the broom letting her fly about.]Seeing as I have no way to get close to it, would you mind getting a sample for me?
