Inception - money can't buy you love (but it - and some verbal judo - can sure help things along)

I haven't written anything in three weeks. I was starting to panic because a lorry jack-knifed all over the M25 that in my writing brain. Thankfully I had maurheti to ease me through it. Thank you, bb.

Your verbal judo is amazing. I love the Casino Royale moments.

I am so incredibly in love with Arthur being a quirky normal human being, I cannot even tell you ♥

this is pretty delightful! I always love your banter - humorous and touching at the same time. arthur is so fabulous in this.

also, it's interesting to me to see how characterizations are evolving as the fandom gets older. obviously, this fic comments on that, but it's also pretty true that after the first few months writers are finally comfortable enough to write eames as something other than an illiterate perv, and arthur as something other than a repressed virgin. I don't really have a problem with those characterizations, per se, but I love the arthur who reads too much and loves popsicles a lot more. I love how eames is uncertain, here.

anyway, this is lovely. thanks for sharing it! ♥

I'm so glad you liked the story! I keep hearing about these stories where Eames is a illiterate perv and Arthur's a repressed virgin, but I've never read them (quite thankfully), so mostly I just scratch my head. They've always been so brilliant and multifaceted from the moment I saw them that I can't imagine them any other way. Their inner quirks and foibles are a constant evolution for me the more I write them, which is part of why I adore them so much.
