Three birds, one stone.

I know a lot of people are suffering to no end because of the inclement weather and for that I am sorry. I know people are probably stranded with cabin fever, maybe even without power (in which case, um, damn, son). But as bad as that is the people of Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation have been without power or water or heat for nearly two weeks. ( Read more... )

Hello! I love all your GK stuff, to the point that I've stalked a ridiculous number of even the comments on your posts. Thanks for all the excellent reading material.

It will never cease to baffle me as to why people feel the need to read and comment on stories they clearly don't like. Is your 'back' button broken? Do you really think your rudeness is so invaluable?

What's even more odd is that this goes against the unwritten rules of fannish behavior, where silence is implied criticism. Y'know, where a lack of comments means people didn't like. Which in this case would be preferable.

Idek. Some people need to share their special snowflakeness with the class and do so by putting others down. You know how I feel about such people.

Also, that's some bullshit, dude. Poke would have Things to Say.

Today has been declared lurker amnesty day (by me!) Have you read me but never commented? Do you surf by occasionally? Here for the ficinsanity? Say hello! You are under no obligation to ever comment or delurk again, but here's a chance to do so in a post just for that.

HELLO! I never comment at all, but ILU! Just so you know.

I admit that sometimes that is true, but thefourthvine did a great break down of why people do/don't comment that I think probably covers that a lot more. I mean there are lots of stories that people love that I don't and lots of things that I love that I'm sure people are all, WTF? And yet, I do not go around pissing in people's pockets over it. *That* is where my problem comes from. If you don't like it for whatever reason, you are entitled, but to spread your hateration? NOT OKAY.

I found your journal a couple of times in hp but what made me friend you was when I read all of your Ari fic. &hearts

I love the way you make the characters in various fics so real and flawed and messy and I still love them so much. Their is also no real hating on one part of the pairing to glorify the other which makes me feel inspired but what writing can do.

Ari loves you, too!

And thank you for the lovely comment about my characters, that made me very happy to read. :)

I think I've had you on my f-list since you were writing O.C. fic. I'm not sure how I found your journal, or why, but you are the reason I shipped Seth/Ryan like I did. I watched the first season of Southland because of your rec.

People are rude, and I'll include myself in that, because I never really take the time to say that I love your fic, through many, many, many fandoms now. <3

South! Land! South! Land! *runs around waving her Southland flag* Excited what? And you know, I don't mind people not commenting on my fic, but I do take exception to people being deliberately rude, that's just not on in my book.

I've totally missed it since the move though! And I didn't even get to watch the last episode that NBC aired. DVR fail is the worst of all fails.

There's no call for people to say at least half of the things they do in general. I'm the type of person who keeps quiet on the off-chance of offending someone, because I always think it's better to not.
