Having a rough patch? Feeling like you want to choke a bitch? Or just so goddamn happy that you could bottle it and sell it on the black market? Whatever your state at the moment, I've got some music for you, because no matter how crap things are, it's always a good day to be alive...

Wow cool, I only have one of those songs on my computer (the Propellerheads song). And I love "Today is the Day" by Apollo Sunshine -- they used it in a Hollyoaks episode I saw recently and I was wishing I had it!

Whenever I'm depressed, I think of Sam and Gene dancing to "Jean Genie," and then I'm happy to be alive, too! *vbeg*

Okay, which episode is that in again, because now I want to go back and see it again! Also, "Jean Genie" came on the radio today (which I never listen to) and i was totally rocking out in traffic.

I believe that was 1x04. In Warren's club. They do the "backs together so it looks like we're dancing with girls but we're really dancing with each other" thing. :D

Isn't it nice when the radio's psychic?

They are so obvious, it's fabulous. Also, I was watching State of Play recently, which I'd not watched since it came out in '03 and I'd forgotten it had John Simm and Philip Glenister (their first time as a team!) together. I kind of spazzed out. Massively. And now that I think about it it makes me think of that story you recommended, since that's obviously Sam and Gene in the 21st Century.

I'm so taking this! Have a trip to London tomorrow and unfortunately suffer from a near pathological fear of the tube. Perhaps this will get me through it. Thank you! <3

Your icon is disturbing, yet amusing. Much like your SGA love. And hockey love.
