In what may be one of the most traumatic episodes EVER, last week I plugged in my iPod to charge the battery and it blue screened my computer. And then, when the computer rebooted and iTunes came back up, my pod started syncing up, only instead of syncing up, it synced down and proceeded to wipe itself clean. Yeah, you read that right. Well, sweetie, you don't have to trust my iPod, I have to ;) But I do understand what you're saying, so at the moment I'm just putting on what's already on the computers I have access to. I'm not getting near the 300+ CDs to upload until it's been a few weeks and it's proven it's not crapping out again.

Once you have some stuff back, BACK IT UP. In a normal folder. Somewhere else.

I have a nifty app to list the contents of any folder with subfolders. I'll run it on my music folder, then send it to you - you can ask me for anything you like on it. Email please?

... am rather terrified to report that my music folder is 17 gig with over 5,000 files on it. There must be SOMETHING you like on it.

Do you know I still have the Prince you gave me. Hell, it's like one of the few things I do have. Why? Because Prince is love, but I am a fan of any and all 80s stuff. Good stuff, bad stuff, embarassing stuff, just no hair metal. Or metal of any kind that's not platinum and from Harry Winston.
