So, there have been a few recent developments.

-My living situation-
My dad's girlfriend called me the other day and basically helped make our decision about moving.  She said they found a place in Florida (on the same block they live on).  It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house.  It's being rented out for $725 a month.  She knows the guy who owns it and she ( Read more... )

I hope you don't mind that I came over here and read your update. I saw you commenting in some of the same places I did and got curious about how you were doing and what was up with the moving/not moving situation.

I'm so excited to hear about these new opportunities! Yeah, it would suck to move at 36 weeks but, if everything goes through, it will be *so* worth it. :) That's just amazing how wonderful and helpful your dad and his gf are being.

And Happy Belated Birthday! It sounds like you had a good one and you deserve it.

Mind if I friend you?

I don't mind at all that you stopped by. I WAS going to post this "update" in some of my communities that I'm in because I've been talking about a lot of the situations I've been going through in them...but I just never did get around to it.

And no, I don't mind at all if you friend me :)

Thanks for the b-day wish. And yeah, it really is awesome that my dad and his gf are planning on helping out so much. As of right now, I'm just waiting on hearing from them about going to see the place. The guy we'd be renting from lives sort of far and has to wait for someone he knows to contact him back about going to show the house to my dad and his gf. Hopefully it happens SOON!

:)

I have the same problem with reflux. My midwife told me to eat a single serving container of yogurt a day to help, and it has helped some. I guess the cultures in the yogurt are supposed to aid the digestive tract and help keep it from becoming overly irritated by the stomach acid.

hmm I guess I'll have to try it. I don't have much longer to go with pregnancy, but I've always had acid problems so maybe it'll help in the future too. But yeah - I think I'll grab some yogurt today. Thanks :)
