I used to be a habitual jigsaw puzzler and I was thinking that I might want to get back into that again, so I've been browsing the interwebbernets to see what I could find. So far I've resisted the urge to purchase a 1,000 piece puzzle of Jesus carrying a lamb for the sheer amusement of owning such a thing. Then I happened upon another site and

I just got Journey's greatest hits and it suddenly occurs to me that I like Journey a lot more than I thought I did. A lot. I had a similar experience with Fleetwood Mac a few years ago. I love it when that happens

For Baby Jesus' birthday, Brother Adam got me this sweet speaker system for my computer (which is also compatible with other devices). It has a subwoofer which is currently making my desk pulsate in an awesome manner. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that I'm listening to the The Eurythmics, I would say that my whole desk currently sounds like a

I don't know what's wrong with me these days. I normally love me some Christmas music, but lately I just don't want to listen to any seasonal tunes. I'd normally blame the music system work, but the combination of my ears being blocked up and the fact that I live in the photo lab with a hella noisy Gretag minilab means that I never hear the store

No, he's not some random weirdo...the city arranges for him to be there.
I find that as one ages, the fact of one's clumsiness becomes less and less of a source of amusement. I almost died in the bathroom this afternoon. For reals, yo

I am such an old lady. I just washed a pair of pants that had a paper napkin in one of the pockets and now there are napkin particles all over my work shirts. Perhaps I could have checked the pockets first, but it's rare that I should have something like that in my pockets in the first place. I don't hold onto paper goods like a certain portion of

I used to have these two bookends: a light calico kitty and a dark calico kitty. The latter had to leave us a few years ago. Cancer sucks. The former decided that Saturday night was her time to go and she died in my arms at about 9:30pm, not long after I got home from work. It's okay, she was about sixteen years old and we were pretty much
