The reason I'm going to grad school right now as opposed to later is that I can't really afford to do anything else >< If I go the grad school route, then I'll have financial aid and grants and scholarships so I'm all set for the next two years. Otherwise, I'll have to find a real job and with the current market, I don't think I have the skills to break into any field that will support the kind of lifestyle I want. XD

東大 is a prestigious uni, but not as far as grad schools go. Unfortunately, the best in the world are on the East Coast, and if I went to Yale or Columbia it would help me break into any company in any country. But if I go to a grad school in Japan, it would only help me get placement in a Japanese company... I don't want to work for a Japanese company because I disapprove of their corporate culture and lack of anti-discrimination laws.

Of course, I could always just become a C.A.　(キャビンアテンダント）, which is apparently the number one career choice for

If I could stand to have long hair, and there was any way the wire brush on my head would do it, I would do that in like ten seconds. If you had the patience to grow your hair out, the new asian perms (digital and air wave) are really good for our hair type, course and thick. Of course, it would take a long time for your hair to grow long enough to perm it and it's really pricey (mine was $185 for a cut and perm, not including tip)

But I think you should go for it some day when you strike it rich and have a ton of free time on your hands! XD
