I'm looking at a Sig p239 very heavily. I'd like something that has an active/passive safety. I thought about the new Springfield XD, i've heard good things, but all the safety's are off when you hold the gun and pull the trigger. If i was ever disarmed, having a switch could add 10 seconds to my window of response...who knows. XD is slightly cheaper... Also looking at a walther p99. It feels good in my hand (which is most important) and is fairly easy on budget.
