Two minutes in her vicinity and I find myself consciously trying not to borrow speaking patterns (and consciously thinking, I hate when I use a girlie voice; I want to sound like that). Briefly, what superhero did you tell him?

I couldn't decide! He seemed like a very traditional-superheroes fan (and was only 13), and all that came to mind was minor series and Grant Morrison characters and ... I blanked, and eventually said X-Men, but that's kind of a cop-out; I should've been more specific. :)
