It has been a long time, hasn't it? I have excuses galore. Mainly university, and writing. In that time, vale Mary Tamm, my favourite Romana, and brave heart to Janet Fielding. Cancer, leave Who alumni alone

Oh, these are lovely! And till you posted this & I checked your S&S tag, I had completely forgotten you'd been one of the people who told me to watch it. (About a year before I lost myself in it. What beautifully weird show.)
I like the faded look you have for S&S, which fits with its dreamlike feel, close crops on the three Elements, which matches the way they're always shot. The PG ones are really gorgeous. And I have no problem with all the David Collings. It is hard not to just icon lots of Silver when doing S&S. He has all the funny expressions and the amazing hair.
The DW ones are v nice too and the last one is especially good. I can't help feeling though you should really have rounded the themed post off with a bit of Robots of Death and/or Blake!
Oh, and you should really post these to sapphirensteel - so few people make icons for it and these are gorgeous. And have a little less Silver than I managed. (I hate my screencaps of it; they're crappy. I comfort myself by making David Collings's hair go redder than usual.

Ah yes. Sapphire & Steel is wonderful. I've just finished my rewatch, which has sparked David Collings feelings I never thought I had. He's amazing.
It's really hard to colour S&S caps, because they're always so dark, but these, I think they turned out alright. And of course! Robots and Blake would be perfect. I'll get around to capping those.
As for Scrooge, I haven't seen it, but I shall track it down. Because David Collings hugging turkeys sounds like something everybody in the world should see.
:-) He's a terrible person to start noticing. He's fine just there in the background, and then... Speaking for myself, anyway. (If the feelings don't wear off soon, there's also david_collings. I love that LJ has a comm for nearly everything.)
They're beautiful, I'm really impressed. Heh, I keep meaning to have a go at Robots, because I did cap it some time last year - the Robots and everything else are so pretty!!!
It's on YouTube. And I should probably have said that it actually stars Albert Finney as Scrooge, with Alec Guinness, Edith Evans and Kenneth More as the ghosts. But I feel that I mentioned the important bit. (His HAIR.) :-)
Robots is a great story. Everything being all visually appealing and witty. I need to get around to making some icons.
I'll get around to watching it. It sounds like fun. And, of course, David Collings has the best hair ever. Anybody who argues against it just hasn't looked.
Gorgeous icons! I was just thinking I should upgrade my Sapphire and Steel collection, and here you are :) These have a great otherworldy feel to them. I really like the DW icons too.
