I LOVE explanations of bookshelves systems. This one lacked pictures, actually, to completely fulfill my interest. ;) Splitting books between rooms was the worst, having a huge wall o' books in one room was a big requirement when we were house-shopping. Now that the wall is full, however, there is some spill-over in other rooms, but mostly of unread books, so it's fine by me... But I made the conscious decision to try to buy 75% ebooks at least, because there just isn't room anymore. And I'm just 25!!! I can't imagine what our shelves would look like once we're retired. BOOKS REPRODUCE BETWEEN THEMSELVES AT NIGHT
Well, you see, some of my books are still at my parents house. If I have to make space for those at some point, I'm really in trouble. Plus, I have been sorting and giving away books all my life. It is just part of my life. Because there are TOO MANY.
I like organizing books, but IT CAN BE SO FRUSTRATING. I boxed up soooo many of mine (there just isn't enough space) and still ended up having the same experience you did of having the shelves completely full and then finding extra books, thus destroying my system. :-/
That last scene was so awesome. I really hope they don't go the romance route on Elementary, they keep saying they won't but I'd rather have them be BFFs like now. I don't know. Right now though I think Elementary is my favorite show, my happy place on tv. Way more excited for it than I was for The Mentalist. That whole thing with Lisbon is weird. What was that? I can't think that RJ got sloppy but he also could be playing with Jane. And with Lisbon. Toying like a cat with a mouse. It was odd. I liked too the fact that maybe Red John actually doesn't know about that dictation still being out there. As for Arrow, ugh Laurel. Again it's my guilty pleasure show. I don't love it but it's fun. I didn't see Shield this week but it needs to win me over. It's less fun than Arrow and Ming-Wa always looks like she's pissed off she's even in the show. LOL. I've been recording Sleepy Hollow because people seem to like it. Haven't watched it yet because the trailers were awful and I'm skeptical. We'll see.
I really hope they don't go the romance route on Elementary. I'm tentatively trusting them wtih that. I just really like how they're doing the relationship as is
( ... )
Not that I wanted a big hooplah of Lisbon-under-threat.
Hahaha, I enjoy this sentence. I think we're all glad we didn't get a big hooplah, to be honest. Well, the sensible fans at least.
Also, I called Sophie Miller as the source of the information months ago. JANE. You're slipping.
HEE. This still amuses me. But yeah, isn't this basically only 3 or 4 days after the happy memory itself was killed on the show? We had several months in between over the summer, but as the premiere picked up where the finale left off, I've actually been wondering about how they didn't have a time jump this season. Clearly, I think about this show far too much. HELP.
Is it only three to four days? Was the happy memory in the finale or the penultimate episode of last season? I DO NOT REMEMBER. My general lack of interest in the RJ details is showing. Still, you're right, it's not a long period of time. JANE. You are slipping slightly less. (I think I still beat you to that conclusion though, tbh. HA.)
It was the finale. So yeah, not that much time in between but I can't blame you for not being interested in the RJ stuff at all anymore. God knows why I still am, but perhaps because the end is near. FINALLY. It's about time they wrap that up.
But yes, I also still think you beat him to the conclusion. GO TO LA AND TAKE OVER THE WRITING STAFF.
P.S. I forgot to comment on this last night, but your detailed descriptions of your book organising is the best. Good luck with that :p
To be fair, when it comes to caring about RJ, I am probably at the extreme end. I just, it's been so long. I'm curious, but not invested.
Grace and I are going to go to LA and take over the writing staff. We think the show would improve markedly.
I shall go through shelf organization 2.0 next week probably. I'm away for the weekend, which has made me realize that I might miss this week's episode. Le sigh.
