Giggle snort. That was really worth a chuckle even for straight dialogue which ordinarily annoys me. But there was enough expression in their comments that you could just see eye rolls and fidgeting and what happened after the "I love yous"

Edited because I seriously read the original comment wrong. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the fic. Although, I'm sorry straight dialogue annoys you. It's kind of a fun form, though I wouldn't want to write in it all the time. Several people actually had problems with it. Just following along and such. Which I think is a limitation of the form, if you want to know for sure who's saying what for every single word. If that makes sense.

I think there are alot of authors who write in the style that shouldn't, you know? Which is why the style annoys me in general. This one was well written within the style limits so you knew who was speaking and your brain was able to fill in the action that was missing. Sorry if you misread! I didn't mean to say that this story was bad, in fact that was meant as I found it a pleasant exception to my general dislike of the form (I also make exceptions for drabbles as it saves on words)

Oh, I didn't misread in that sense (in the sense of the intention of the comment), don't worry! I misread who the comment was from somehow (still not sure how), and then my reply essentially made no sense as a result. I didn't think you were saying it was bad.

So I already left you feedback on ff, but I'm gonna do it again here. Just because I can. :D

I loved it!!! This bantering back and forth is definitely one of the things I love best about Jane and Lisbon. So a whole fic of it is just win! :D
