Catching up on Sherlock

Just saw A Scandal in Belgravia... Why can't all TV be like that? Seriously, WHY? That was one of the best episodes of television I have seen in quite some time. Did not see the ending coming. Did not see a lot of it coming. And my favourite part? Possibly. ( Because I'm not sure when these are actually airing on TV )

Yeah. That was particularly brutal, even for him. Although, I did kind of like the moment where he realized it. He actually looked like he felt badly. For a change.

I agree with this, but I still don't like how they wrote Adler.

Why, if you don't mind my asking. Was it the dominatrix thing? The fact that she was very overtly a love interest? I'm don't think I have strong feelings one way or the other. I thought the episode was good, nothing bugged specifically, even if it waasn't quite what I was expecting.

that part with Molly was a bit painful...

Yeahhh, this is why whenever people recommend Sherlock to me, I just can't. I wish I could share in people's flailing over its awesome, but I am ridiculously sympathetic to Molly and identify way too much and I can't watch her be humiliated as I hear she is quite often. :/

It really is awesome, but if you identify with Molly, probably not for you. She's not in the Hound of Baskerville, so I suppose you could watch that episode. Unless Sherlock being a jerk to anyone is enough to cause you to make the association.

I'm just a little over jerk-ass protagonists. After years of House and Jane and co., I've reached my breaking point, I'm afraid.

(Even though I am watching The Big Bang Theory and love Sheldon, but the thing is that with the other guys, they know full well they're insulting and hurting people and just don't care, whereas Sheldon operates on such a logical, emotionless basis that he doesn't understand)

I think I'll stick with reading Sherlock fanfic. ^_^
