(I have no Anne icons, so I give you Max being adorable) That was perfect! Maybe a few too many honeys but I think otherwise you captured the characters perfectly. Phil was always my favorite, so I think you got her voice down pretty well. And you're right, Stella always seemed to be a walk on role in that book then she goes out to Vancouver and is never heard from again poor thing. *hugs*

I have several Anne icons. But I will also take Max being adorable. Possibly a few too many honeys. I find sometimes when I'm writing someone with occasional verbal ticks, I overdo it the first couple of times. I actually took some of them out, which is frightening, come to think of it. Stella's never really mentioned much. She has more of a role in Anne of Avonlea, ironically, then when she's Anne's actual roommate. In Anne of the Island she's almost eclipsed by her own Aunt. Poor dear.

It's fine, Phil was such a big character that I'm sure she wouldn't shut up either. (I do remember when characters talked to me. I just wished one of them would have given me bloody plot instead of snappy dialogue. LOL). Other than that I really could see it being in the book. :)

Hee. You could always do what I do, and hide the lack of plot with lots of snappy dialogue. It works well sometimes. *nods sagely*
