553 post: Highlights?

Aug 05, 2012 13:06

I don't know what to call this feature, since I didn't create these on purpose. One time a few months ago I didn't know what to post when it was my turn, so I just started making up possible plots based on random screencaps. Everyone seemed to like them! This is the fifth or sixth time I've done this (remember the Spelling Bee?), but what should I call it? "Highlights?" "The True Story?" "The Adventures of Silly People in Hawaii?"

Even without a name for the feature, we can still take a closer look at what might have happened, once upon a time....

Steve attempts to teach the team how to play “SEAL Hide and Seek.”

As you can imagine, it’s very, very bad to be the loser in this game.

Steve and Danny decide that it’s time to redecorate Five-0 HQ. They don’t have much experience with interior decorating, however, but they do know that they want murals. They begin by asking a doctor to paint the office so it resembles the Sistine Chapel.

They also consult with a hit man about having ocean scenery on the walls. Steve provides vivid descriptions of what he wants to see.

Surprisingly, neither of these men is helpful.
Kono decides that she’s had enough and emphatically vetoes the idea altogether.

Steve disappoints fans everywhere by sleeping in pajamas. The overwhelming guilt he feels does, however, cause him to lie awake at night wondering if he should remove his shirt (and possibly pants) to make everyone happy.

Fans are at least happy to learn that he sleeps with his gun. But we're still disappointed.

Mary arrives in Hawaii and finally asks the question that everyone has been wondering for two years now.
“Steve, are you personally keeping the Navy SEAL store in business by wearing nothing but clothes that say “SEAL” when you’re off-duty? We all KNOW you’re a US Navy SEAL, okay? Enough already.”

Danny anticipates that Steve will stop wearing the SEAL shirt when he sleeps. Perhaps he’ll even take it off now.
