I love that Danny wanted to include every noir cliche out there.

love love LOVE Charlie Chan, and I love love LOVE this!

also, the Neo noir slash genre sounds really interesting.

Film noir is extremely addicting and I understand Danny's need to want to use every cliche out there :)

I loved the Charlie Chan movies and Mr. Moto wasn't too bad either.

Thank you for the lovely comments :)

Clever, very fun read. Loved the parallel characters, and the wit threaded throughout. Nice!

This was completely made of WIN. \o/

I absolutely love AUs and Danny as a writer is one of my secret fantasies, so this is just perfect. And especially since he's writing "neo noir slash" under a pseudonym...guh, that just makes it that much better.

I must say, I really loved the excerpts from Danny's book. I think I grinned the whole time I was reading them, which is rare for me. The dialogue! The similes! Perfect.

And the character names! Joe Kelly & Will Stevens...such great amalgams of the show's character names. And in my head, Jackie Jordan is Kono Kalakaua, just because of the alliteration.

Anyway, THANK YOU, dear writer. I really loved this. ♥

I am so glad that you liked this AU and that it didn't disappoint :)

The exerpts from the book were my favorite parts because I loved making the conversations as hardboiled as I could.

Lastly, thank you for leaving such positive feed back--you don't know how much I appreciate it. :)
