Wait. Was that an episode of Smallville that rocked? I honestly can't say I've enjoyed Smallville this much in...well, ever. Kinda makes me wonder why the hell I'm a fan.
It really was amazing. I agree about Clark saying he doesn't want a life without her. That's exactly what he was saying in that final conversation. So. Sweet.
This episode was made of awesome from beginning to end. I kept waiting to hear them say I love you during that phone convo. The subtext was so loud it became text.
No more words... I am in love with Chlark. A definite squee worthy episode.
I was beyond surprised and thrilled that I didn't want to throw something at my tv like usual. I too was waiting on SOMETHING to make me dry heave and it never happened! It was made of win! Although I wanted Ollie to STFU at times... plus, no Lois!
I was totally wincing at the end, waiting for them to make some monumentally senseless backtrack or to jump plot points altogether or *something* stupid.
Girl, this episode rocked! The end scene, I kept saying, "I love you...and I love you...I'm doing this because I love you...don't go because I love you..." they said it without saying it. And when Ollie was lecturing Clark at Isis, I was waiting for the "you can't see she's crazy because you're in love with her, aren't you, Clark?" It never came, but I know that's what he was thinking.
I hear that people are seriously bashing over at Ksite. Apparently, everyone but the Chlarkers turned off the tv before the phone conversation. OR they went to pee. I don't know really, but they obviously didn't watch it, or they would know she's doing it all for Clark. They insist on bashing Chloe. Duh!
Eh, the bashers are cuckoo anyway. We knew that. Even their bitter can't touch my buzz over this episode's goodness.
I was right there expecting Ollie to call Clark on his bit, but apparently they've relegated Ollie to the Clois cheer squad, so he can only push the friend!Chlark angle. The performances spoke for themselves, though. I think I love the director almost as much as the writer.

I've watched it twice, and I'm still in shock.
