Not sure where this whole frelling summer went, but fall seems to be sneaking up on me quick.  And can I just take a moment to note that it's wierd as hell packing for 50 degrees when it's 110

On the laptop, I'd say if you want it then go for it. Privacy can be very important and can be very comforting to possess. But if you might be carting around both, that could become a nuisance. I guess it really depends on how much you want it.

Have fun on your vacation! Although I must say 50 degree weather sounds a little cool.

Hee. I'm typing on the new laptop now. Yeah, I'm a pillar of restraint. :P

I'm an Arizona native, so 50 degrees will be such a novelty I doubt it'll bug me. I have massive short-timers, and getting through Thursday's going to be torture.

Now I just need to break in the laptop with a new fic. ;)

I'm from Vancouver, so 50 degrees isn't such a novelty. It's a temperature I'm sure I experience a lot of in the spring and in autumn (not sure since I usually operate on Celsius, not Fahrenheit).

Eek, sounds like a lot of work. At least there's a vacation as a reward for getting through it.

Oh, you definitely need to break the new laptop in with some new fic :)
