Flashbacks are only awesome when the said flashback-ie ends the chapter with a dramatic exit, which was exactly what Shinji did and we all SHOULD love him for it.

OMFG SO MUCH EPIIIIIIIIIC it's been a while I've been this worked up over a chapter. ;_;
