there are days when i love working at hastings; this is not one of them.
i've been told that the way i say stuff to customers is akin to someone stepping on a rake and having the handle come up and hit them in the face, and that's really their own stupidity being shown to them instead of me insulting them outright. idk though. i just say what needs to be said sometimes.
ugh. my normal reaction is something like, "well, i know i'm a complete dolt and you can walk all over me. oh, you won't be quiet? here, let me call a manager and let them take fifteen minutes to come over here, if they bother at all- they may be taking one of their fifteen thousand smoke breaks at the moment, you see. feel free to continue verbally abusing me in the meantime."
