When I read this was the "Curving Like The Ocean Toward You"-verse I almost squealed with delight.

You had me right here: “Bad news first,” Steve says, without looking up from the pile of mail he’s going through. Yes. I loved that Steve was reading the mail! There's just something so domestic and comfortable about that. And I LOVE domestic, comfortable, happy Steve.

So....when are Steve and Danny going to visit NJ? I'm sure there's a treasure trove of glorious pics from Danny's youth that Steve can plunder.

Oh my god!!! *dies from adorableness*

this weird combination of frightening automaton and neurotic goofy sap -- this sentence right here? EVERYTHING I LOVE ABOUT STEVE. EVERYTHING, IN ONE GLORIOUS LINE.

When my brain unbreaks, I am totally getting on with writing my high school AU big bang, this is inspiration in a shotglass! <333

Haha, they are too cute. Hee, fireball incidents. Great banter. *squints* it's just plausible that Steve was a dork in 9th grade. He's got that science-Steve thing after all.
