White Collar; Neal/Peter/El; this true/false thing, PG-15

So today I meant to have lunch and instead I wrote White Collar fic.

It's not my fault.

I blame copperbadge for getting me into this show with that awesome post he did that one time and I blame Matt Bomer for his stupidly good acting and the White Collar writing staff for their stupidly awesome writing. But no matter what I say, it is

That was absolutely adorable. Kirby was totally right about you. I think the Elizabeth section is my favourite but really, I just love this, so much. The format is fun and easy to follow and you have this great way with words. :D

1) Thank you! I'm always shocked and flattered when I get any kind of praise at all, but since this is my first stab at this fandom, I'm all quivery doubts and terror. As such, your kind words are doubly appreciated :D

2) I have found that despite her massive blindspot when it comes to my merits (she oversells me, she REALLY does), Kirby is an excellent judge of character. I look forward to discovering your awesomeness for myself.

3) Your icon! Be-hatted Neal! I will have it, I must have it. Where did you get it? I can't decide if it's the eyes or the hat or the line of the neck but gah, it is beautiful and I desire it.

Oh, this is great! I love all three sections. I particularly love the one about how Neal isn't the only one who could steal what he had, as well as the idea that Peter has caught Neal several times, ha. The El section is my favourite, though - the final segment especially packs such a punch!

Lovely! I loved the glimpses into Peter and Neal's past, and I love knowing that there were times Peter stopped himself from gloating, or even letting Neal know he had him, just because he didn't want to see Neal's face crumple. (Aw!) I also loved knowing that El is just sitting back, waiting for the right moment to bring Peter and Neal--and/or all three of them?--together.
